What makes a great preschool?

We would like to hear from you. What do you think makes a great preschool?

I'm going to be a new daddy here in a few months and though I don't know all the woes of fatherhood, sending my baby daughter to preschool sounds like a scary thing! I think confidence and saftey are highest priority in choosing a preschool for my kids. With all the craziness and horror stories people are being fed in the media ect. can make a person weary about leaving thier child's saftey in someone else's hands.
