S.A.F.E. Temecula Parent Project Focuses on Difficult Teen Behaviors
Thu, 08 Jan 2009 1:14 PM
Safe Alternatives for Everyone, Temecula Police Department and the District Attorney’s Office Work Together to Help Parents with Teens.
Learning to make the right decisions is a natural part of growing up. Generally speaking, the older children get the more decisions they should be allowed to make for themselves. However, when a child chooses to engage in destructive behaviors such as skipping or dropping out of school, drug or alcohol use, drinking and driving or gang involvement, the consequence may be addiction, a ruined life or even death.
This eleven-week class is offered by S.A.F.E. in partnership with the Temecula Police Department, Riverside District Attorney’s Office and Y.A.T. (Youth Accountability Team). Classes are held at the Temecula Community Center starting on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 from 6-9. For enrollment or questions, please call June Earley at 951.587.3900.
