As we all may very well know, your pets like fire just as little as we do here is some info on what to do if you need animal assistance:
Animal Control is taking care of the pets in the parking lot, and anyone who would like to temporarily shelter a pet needs to speak to them on site. The staff will then try to find the owners to see if they would like the animal to be taken in by a local resident.

We have been contacted by a woman in Lake Elsinore who says she has a HUGE facility to take in horses and possibly other animals. She says that she has a 160' arena plus stables. We have not verified it. Here is her contact information for anyone wanting to send some animals up there:

Laura Rubin informs us that a shipment from Pet Smart is on its way to the CRC bringing dog food, cat food, bird food, blankets, supplies and toys for animals. Any for-profit or non-profit organization that is boarding animals including veterinarians and animal hospitals can access the supplies by going to the CRC.
Camp Bow Wow in Temecula is taking dogs and birds – you can reach them at 587-2267 and Jamie’s Pet City is taking horses and social dogs – call them at 302-0300. Call Laura Bruno for additional resources at 764-1251.
