Southwest Riverside offers a wide variety of things to do for an afternoon, all day or weekend. With the major metropolitan areas of Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego all less than 90 minutes away, getting to all major Southern California Attractions is quick and easy.
In an afternoon…
There is plenty to do here in the valley to occupy part of a day. Take a hike in the 8,300 acre Santa Rosa Plateau in the mountains above Murrieta. Visit the March Field Air Museum and see over 60 historic aircraft and artifacts from 1918 to the present day. Go fishing or boating at Lake Skinner or Diamond Valley Lake. Play golf, visit a winery, see a movie, feel the excitement of the local casinos,
have a great meal at a restaurant, visit Old Town Temecula, Historic Downtown Murrieta or Downtown Lake Elsinore, shop The Promenade in Temecula, the Farmers Market, or Lake Elsinore Outlets.
For the day…
If you have a day, you can experience some of the attractions that Southern California is known for. Visit one of the world famous amusement parks, zoos, water parks, missions or museums. Have a night on the town at the Gaslamp Quarters in San Diego, the Block of Orange, Irvine Spectrum or see a live performance. Go skiing in the local mountains.
